GLPC stands for Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference. Its goal is to expose pre-pharmacy (and pre-health) undergraduates to the broad world of pharmacy – traditional, clinical, and industry alike.
It’s run by the Pre-Pharmacy Student Organization (PPSO) at the University of Michigan, a student-led organization dedicated to prepping students for pharmacy school and careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
If you’re pre-pharmacy or interested in the pharmacy field (whether community pharmacy, clinical, research, lab work, or industry), GLPC is for YOU.
Yes! We encourage any student interested in pharmacy to attend, even if you’re in high school!

Workshops & panels (on compounding, ethics, pharmacy careers, grad-school application, etc.)
Networking opportunities with current pharmacy students, professionals, and representatives from top pharmacy schools
Exposure to real-world pharmacy practices, career paths, and emerging topics in pharmacy beyond just retail pharmacy.
The upcoming 7th Annual Conference is scheduled for April 4, 2026. It’s held at Rackham Graduate School in Ann Arbor, MI.
Early registration tickets are $8. Regular registration is $12. Early registration closes January 31, and regular registration closes March 25!
Yes, the attire is business casual.
Yes! We provide lunch.
While there is no parking lot at Rackham, there are parking meters for street parking right outside. Alternatively, you can also park at Maynard Structure, which is the closest parking structure.
You are not required to bring anything, and we will provide a bag for you to carry any goodies you may get throughout the day. However, feel free to bring your resume to pass on to the professionals at the conference!
