About Us
Our Mission
The Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference exposes regional pre-pharmacy students to the growing field of pharmacy, creates unique learning and networking opportunities, and enhances educational and career potential. We aim to accomplish this through a series of interactive activities that both expands on the framework of pharmacy and connects students with professional innovators and relevant current issues.
Our conference allows undergraduates to explore the field of pharmacy and is held at the University of Michigan each year. Our unique conference is hosted and planned entirely by a team of undergraduates dedicated to our mission. Learn more about them below!
Meet The Team
Vicki Lin
Co-Head Coordinator & Networking Chair
Vicki Lin is a sophomore at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2023 as the co-chair and networking chair. She has also worked on the GLPC team as a member of the networking committee from 2022-2023. Vicki has loved her role in bringing a conference designed for undergraduates pursuing a career in pharmacy to life. Please reach out if you have any questions!
Nour Madani
Co-Head Coordinator
Nour is a junior at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2021 as a publicity committee member. In 2022, she transitioned to her role as Publicity Chair. Nour has enjoyed her time being a part of GLPC's mission to getting students excited and exposed to the many facets of the field of pharmacy . Please let me know if you have any questions!
Rhea Babani
Fundraising Chair
Rhea Babani is a passionate junior in LSA studying biology and minoring in Spanish on the pre-pharmacy track. With two years of dedicated service on the fundraising team and active involvement in the pre-pharmacy student organization, she has honed her skills in collaborating and organizing in order to raise funds. She is looking forward to GLPC 2024!
Cydnee Wilson
Publicity Chair
Cydnee Wilson is a current sophomore at the University of Michigan pursuing a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy conference team in 2022 as a publicity committee member before transitioning to her role as the Publicity Chair. She manages student outreach, maintains our website, and organizes ticket registration and other logistics. Cydnee has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to teach and enspire pharmacy through her involvement in GLPC, and hopes that GLPC continues to grow each year. Anna Trupiano
Planning Chair
Anna Trupiano is a Senior at the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She joined the Great Lakes Pharmacy Conference team in 2022 as a General Planning Committee Member. She has also worked on the GLPC team as the Planning Committee Chair.
